After doomscrolling for far longer than I should, a cup of mental clarity is just what I need. Today I’m reviewing Nuditea Clarity Blend, a caffeine-free herbal infusion from my new favourite brand. Typically, teas that enhance focus are full of green tea, as green tea leaves are high in both caffeine and L-Theanine (an amino acid that boosts focus and creativity). So can this caffeine-free blend have the same effect?
In the full review below, you’ll find flavour notes, the best brewing method, and some extra info about the ingredients in Nuditea Clarity Tea.
While Nuditea gifted me this tea to feature on the blog, I haven’t been paid to write this review and I won’t earn any affiliate income if you click on the links to check it out for yourself.

It’s a simple herbal medley but be warned, it is very strong! It’s herbaceous from the first sip to the last with peppermint standing out as the hero and fresh vibes that remind me of lemon balm.

This tea has a pungent aroma! From the very second the packaging is opened, notes of bright mint and menthol permeate the room. I can get a good whiff of fresh cut grass and a touch of lemon zest (complete with bitter rind) from it too.
It brews very quickly into a soft yellow tea – it’s clear and bright, which suits the name ‘Clarity Blend’ perfectly.
I’ll be honest. At this point, I could have very happily sat down and simply inhaled the scent of this brewed tea all afternoon. It smells just like a herb garden in the rain, where that scent of rainfall mixes with soft herby notes. Again, the lemon balm and mint are the most distinguishable, but there’s a lovely depth to it too.
You’ll be glad to know that I did eventually take a sip.
The flavour is herbaceous to the extreme. With a clever blend of spices and fruits, many herbal teas mask their herbiness. But not this one. Nuditea Clarity Blend is an unapologetic mix of astringent grassy herbs. I can still taste lemon balm, despite it not being listed in the ingredients, and there’s a refreshing peppermint note that builds at the end of every sip.
Slick, smooth and hydrating. This tea goes down a treat. I also found, to my great surprise, that it does clear the mind. In one word? This tea is rejuvenating.

How to Brew Clarity Blend by Nuditea
Quick and hot is the key with this one. I followed Nuditea’s instructions and brewed one pyramid teabag in approximately 250ml of freshly boiled water for exactly 2 minutes. The herbs impart their flavour very quickly, so if you dislike strong herbal tea then start with just 60 seconds.
You can add sugar or honey to taste, but I’d recommend trying a slice of lemon instead. It will really add to that mind-clearing sensation.
This tea is too strong in flavour to pair easily with foods. Sip it solo in the afternoons or evenings when your mind needs a quick refresher.
Why Nuditea?
I am seriously enjoying the goodies that Nuditea sent me. They’re all about stripping back tea (and its packaging) to the bare essentials… hence the ‘Nudi’ in Nuditea. They prioritise ethical and sustainable sourcing for their ingredients.
Clarity Blend contains 5 herbs and nothing else. No colouring, no sweeteners (not even stevia) and definitely no additional flavourings. It’s masterfully blended with just fresh-tasting herbs. That’s what I love to see.
I have the pyramid teabag format but you’ll also find this in loose leaf format on their website.

How Does This Tea Boost Mental Clarity?
Let’s take a closer look at the ingredients:
- Peppermint: improves memory and cognitive performance (WebMD)
- Sage: elevates mood and increases alertness (Healthline)
- Rosemary: relieves stress and keeps you alert (BBC)
- Ginkgo biloba: may improve mental capabilities but more research needed (Healthline)
- Gotu kola: potential enhance learning and memory (Healthline)
Every ingredient in this herbal infusion is linked (though somewhat loosely in a few cases) to enhanced alertness or better brain function. Whether it will boost your alertness really depends on your body.
As always, tea is not a replacement for medicine. If you’re suffering with low energy or chronic lack of alertness, you should definitely figure out the cause rather than just treating the symptoms.
Ultimately, however, it’s good to know that if you choose to drink this tea for alertness, there is some science behind the ingredients and there are no unnecessary flavourings or fillers.
Summary
It’s strong, minty and fresh. That’s a recipe for a killer herbal tea in my book! I highly recommend Nuditea Clarity Blend. Everything from the ingredients to the flavour is top notch. You can buy it directly from Nuditea’s website with free UK shipping over £30 (at the time of writing).

Tea Recommendation
Though this tea keeps making me think of lemon balm, there’s not actually any citrus in this tea. If you want a thoroughly citrusy blend with a little spice to boost, I recommend reading about Two Spoons Tea Lemongrass & Ginger next.
